If you want to make peace, you don't talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies. ~ Moshe Dayan (1915-1981)

Give us a call. We'll listen.
If you are in a dispute and want to talk with someone who can help you decide if mediation is right for you, contact us either by phone - 541 344-5366 - or by email at: volunteer@communitymediationservices.com
Our neighborhood dispute program is an excellent place to solve problems such as:
Neighborhood: noise, pets, property maintenance, nuisances, boundary disputes, parking
Interpersonal: harassment, threats, roommate disputes
Landlord/Tenant: repairs, damages, public safety, lease agreements
Organizational: consultation and facilitation for neighborhood groups, churches, other public or private agencies
Business: merchant and consumer complaints; co-workers conflicts, employer and employee disagreements
Why use Community Mediation Services?
Quick Help. Mediation sessions are normally held within 30 days.
Informal. Our process will not result in court or police records.
Convenient. Mediation sessions are scheduled during the day or evening and can be located in your neighborhood or held in the neutral setting of our offices.
Affordable. Our fees are reasonable and are adjusted for those who cannot afford them. Mediation services will not be denied for lack of funds.
Peaceful. Voluntarily resolving problems builds cooperation, better feelings and strong neighborhoods.
Empowering. You and the other party are in control of the outcome; solutions are reached only when you both agree. If at any time anyone is uncomfortable with the mediation process they can stop it.
Types of disputes we do not handle:
• Problems requiring legal assistance, i.e. filing lawsuits, criminal defenses, divorces, wills, etc.
• Problems in which one of the parties refuses to participate willingly.
• Problems which can't be settled through communication.
• Disputes between intimate partners and/or child custody.
